Fish Profile: Silver Trevally

Best Areas: Can be found all across Botany Bay and off shore around Sydney, they love structure

Best Fishing line and Tackle Combination: Trevally are great sport on light tackle, 4kg to 6kg Mono or Braid is ideal and I like Shimano’s range of rods match with their new bait runners 4000D makes a top outfit.

Best Baits: Trevally love Prawns and Pilchards but many other baits will work and small Squidgie soft plastics fished across the shallow will produced the results at time.

Conditions: Run in tide or Run out and any time though out the day as long as there is run in the water and Trevally are about all year but love the cooler waters over winter.
